Custom Server & Gaming PC Build
This recent project was a really satisfying one: a pair of custom systems built for a client who wanted the best of both worlds: reliable storage and streaming performance with TrueNAS and Plex, and a high-end gaming experience that doesn’t compromise. Also decent power from the server without an extraordinary price tag was requested, so after some careful research, we selected new components from a slightly older generation delivering great performance without breaking the bank.
TrueNAS + Plex Server Build
For the storage and media server, we went with a rock-solid enterprise foundation. This system is designed to run 24/7, handle large data loads, and serve up Plex media streams without breaking a sweat.

The server build is a simple no-nonsense machine efficient, reliable, and built to last. Perfect for keeping media safe and accessible while offering more customisation and scope vs a standard NAS bay, though the compact design made drive placement challenging.
Custom Gaming PC Build
Next up: a pure gaming beast. This build was all about performance and aesthetics — smooth frame rates, fast load times, and a clean, modern look.

A clean powerful design aimed at high performance gaming with 0 compromises. Quick BIOS setting improvements with EXPOII, and PBO for great undervolt+overclock while keeping power and thermals in check.
The end result? Two completely different systems, each purpose-built for its own job; one optimized for reliability and storage, the other tuned for raw performance and visual excellence. Both are clean, efficient, and ready for anything.
